UNC Theatre Education and Theatre Studies student, Evette Srouji, is dynamic to say the least. Having served on student advisory boards, a student group dedicated to promoting diversity and equity on and off stage, among others, she is dedicated to trailblazing for the next generation of UNC students. This summer, she became the first UNC student to be selected as the Colorado Shakespeare Festival Theatre Management intern.

The Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra (GPO) has enthusiastically welcomed Lowell Graham, DMA, a 1970 and 1971 University of Www:zuise.comern Colorado alumnus and Greeley native, as its new music director. UNC's Colorado School of Public Health alumna Rachel Freeman, MPH ’14, is making her mark in public health. She is part of a team that includes famed alumni artist Armando Silva BA '10, that has recently transformed the exterior wall of a vacant building in northern Colorado into a colorful statement of health advocacy.

Alison Vasquez's '09 return to campus this summer as a guest director for LTR turned out to pay forward and give back more than she ever expected. Back on campus directing the summer production of "Simply Simone," Vasquez says returning to UNC has been life-changing.

As students, UNC alumni Tom Cunniffe '89 and Eric Sherrow '86 recorded many of the university's annual jazz festival performances. These recordings are now available through the UNC Music Library.

Love for the game of tennis and the theatre, coupled with a desire to make a difference, led heart surgeon Dr. Ken Richards and wife Beth Richards to establish student scholarships funding their passions.
